How to display travel mode options again in gmaps

As you can see from the screenshot, above the address the various travel
modes are not displayed. The text by foot, by bike, by car etc. has
disapeared about 3 weeks ago.

How can I display the various travel modes again?

I use firefox on Xubuntu, a Ubuntu/Linus distribution.

I do not see where to click. google maps does not display travel mode
options anymore.
