[xubuntu-users] Slow Shutodown - Stop Job Running

My shutdowns sometimes take an unreasonable amount of time to complete. On the 
console, I see,

    A stop job is running for Snap Daemon (52s / 1min 30s)

And it doesn't complete until the 1.5 min have elapsed. Cause? Cure?
