To prevent screenlocking it would be also an option to select the 
presentation mode from the menu of the battery icon (if the device is a 
laptop) or via
xfconf-query -c xfce4-power-manager -p 
/xfce4-power-manager/presentation-mode -s "true" - it can be disabled by 
setting it to false again.
