[xubuntu-users] Xubuntu 20.04: Will this release support independent desktop sessions on multiple monitors?

18.04 was the last release that supported running independent desktop
sessions (separate desktop, panel and window manager) on multiple
monitors. This has not worked in 18.10, 19.04 or 19.10 which I am
currently running. This configuration has been described as "Zaphod Head"
mode. Can anyone verify whether this has been fixed in this release?

I have two 4K monitors attached to an Nvidia K4000 GPU. The current
configuration spans the xfce4 desktop across the two monitors, but I would
like to restore independents between them so that I can switch the
workspace on one monitor without changing the other.

If anyone is curious about this bug, it was reported and discussed here:
https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15116

Thanks.
