[xubuntu-users] blender 2.80*.deb

hi list,

does any of you know if there is a blender 2.80 deb version for Xubuntu
18.04 LTS?
So far I found only a * tar-packed blender 2.80 directly from
blender.org
And on wiki/ubuntuusers.de unfortunately only the blender 2.79 version,
which I already installed a long time ago.

And unfortunately I don't have any ideas or experiences about snap
especially installing software with snap.
Have read about it would be not a good idea to use snap for installing
ubuntu-software.

What's your experience with using snap for installing software on an
ubuntu-system?
