I don't use either but if you bring up the Ubuntu Software app, you can 
search for them. If you'd like reviews, do a search for 'linux paint' 
(on duckduckgo.com - google spies on you). There's also a site called 
alternative.to  which lists linux alternatives for Windows programs.

That should get you well on your way.
