[xubuntu-users] beep when power cable is (un)plugged

The same is true for me!
Still the question: how can I have the beep on the other (newer) thinkpad?
I found /sys/class/power_supply/AC/online
1 = on AC power
0 = without AC power

Do I have to write my own power watch daemon?
