[xubuntu-users] default-locale with lightdm autologin?

When I set in /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf "autologin-user=MYUSER" the
default locale is ignored. 

I have in /etc/default/locale LANG="en_US.ISO-8859-15", but XFCE with
autologin then has LANG="en_US.UTF-8", which means every X program I start
from the desktop has this wrong locale.

When I log in with user/password, the locale setting is correct, as defined
in /etc/default/locale

Where can I set the locale for lightdm autologin?
