[xubuntu-users] How to 'hard lock' xfce panel-0 ?

Hello,

I'm building a limited access (kiosk like) workstation based on Xubuntu 18.04.

We do not want users to be able to modify any settings/configurations/UI.

We do want the UI to display the 'task-bar', eg, panel-0 (xfce4-panel.xml) , but do not want the user to be able to modify it in any way. It will only show open windows/apps on the current desktop, and the current time.

Is there some setting/way of locking the panel features so the user is unable to modify them?

If not, is there an alternative option to display a task-bar like panel?

Thanks,
Tom

Cheers,
Tom
