[xubuntu-users] My old HP Mini anno 2010 worked fine with 16 BUT 17 upgrade made it corrupt

Now I reinstalled 16 and kept files on a partition that is for 17: what
would be the best way to access the files, and then remove the partition?

Clear Linux of Intel would be my next dist if this would fail for THIS pc.
Else I am happy with Xubuntu!
