[xubuntu-users] Use 'automatic' bluetooth between two Xubuntu 18.04 systems to access LAN, and SSH to other servers on the LAN.

Why not just use WiFi and an SSH connection? Sounds overly difficult to do it with Bluetooth.

Subject: [xubuntu-users] Use 'automatic' bluetooth between two Xubuntu 18.04 systems to access LAN, and SSH to other servers on the LAN.

Hi,

I have been trying to set this up with a lot of googling and testing
without success.

The examples I find (based on installing bluetooth, bluez en bleuman seem
mostly based on older versions
of bluez (I have bluez 5.48-0ubuntu3) ).

<xubuntu-users at lists.ubuntu.com>I try to let both systems connect
automatically (using bluetoothctl agent on, trust ---, connect --- etc) ,
whereby one (A) acts
as a network access point (proving a cabled or wifi link to a LAN) and the
other (B) as a client using (A) to connect to that LAN
and attached PC's via SSH.

Any help is mostly appreciated !

Brgds,

Yvo Brasseur.
