[xubuntu-users] Unable to open pdf files

tried to read a pdf from another computer-laptop runnung xubuntu 18.04 
lts:sorry, ubuntu 18.04 has experienced an internal error
executable path /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/tumblerd-1/tumblerd
details: crash
tumblerd crashed with SIGSEGV in Parser:makeStream()
apport version 2.20.9-oubuntu7.5
by office, I meant in the whiskers meny->office (not an application)
