[xubuntu-users] No wireless (no wlp4s0 interface) on Xubuntu 16.04

I just installed Xubuntu 16.04 on an Acer Aspire 3680 old laptop (it's 
more than ten years old), and I can't get any wireless.

Typing "sudo ifconfig" I don't get a wlp4s0 device.

Typing "sudo iwcondif" I get:

enp2s0     no wireless extensions.

lo              no wireless extensions.


Is there some driver I'll need to install or is the laptop way to old to 
get wireless support?
