[xubuntu-users] Xubuntu no longer automatically suspends

Hello,
I installed Xubuntu 17 on my Dell Inspirion laptop last week. I set the
"Power Manager settings" --> "System" --> Sleep mode to "Suspend" after 15
minutes.

This worked well for a few days. The laptop would go into suspend mode
after 15 minutes of inactivity.

However, yesterday this stopped working. The laptop no longer suspends
automatically.  I have to do so manually.

Anyone know how this got broke and how to fix?
