[xubuntu-users] Rookie question on backups

Hahaha... I substantially agree with you to a great extent, Ralph,
actually, more than I'd expect myself. But... big but (though being skinny,
my butt is tiny lol)

Tell you what, Ralph... give me a few minutes - catching a train home after
12 miserable hours of night shift with damn exasperating windows based BMS
- and I'll start a humble contribution to the community...I'll open a
thread titled "The Devil's Advocate", where I'll play the said role and you
tackle it however you feel like tackling it... and the fiercer your
arguing, the better... on one condition, though...

Your arguing must come from your deepest convictions and with utter honesty.

I have received and I am beneffiting much from this xubuntu community. A
rookie goving my first unstable steps. Programatically wise I have nothing
to contribute yet. But I wish to give something back and this is something
that it's within my means and can come to beneffit us all in many ways, if
you're ok with it, as it may bring up valuable insights into pros and cons
of one too many things...

And of course, it goes without saying that everybody's welcome to join
in... though I really like you to take the main role because of your
experience and strong views - take it as the compliment that it is...

I'll open it and we'll take it from there at our own pace... what you say?

Oh... and humour, sarcastic, cynical or ironic alike is always welcome as
well... :)
