I understand.  Then the option to turn ON/OFF the "Hide From Menus" in
menulibre should at least remove the options from view.  I had to log out
and back in because on the fly caused all the menu items to disappear when
I clicked save in menulibre, but all was fine the changes stuck once I had
logged back in.
