[xubuntu-users] Systray Icon for Mono-Application

Hi Guys!

I have a Mono-Application that displays a systray Icon in Windows and
KDE-plasma (for plasma there has to be installed the legacy-icons-package).
The icon blinks if anything happens in that application as an indication
for updates for the user.

Is there any package I can install to get this feature in xfce4?

Technically, the application is trying to send a 16x16 .ico file as Image
to the systray which happily gets ignored by xfce.

I hope someone has an Idea about this...thanks in advance.
