This is one of the KDE applications, you might have better luck with
asking the Kubuntu crowd as they may be better acquainted with how
those things work. Or take a look here:

If I understood you correctly the first time you posted about this
problem, it first appeared in 15.04. That was the first Ubuntu release
with the new KDE framework - Plasma 5. AIUI that brought with it
massive changes, so this might have been one feature that was removed
or altered. It might even be covered in the release notes for Kubuntu
15.04.
