[xubuntu-users] not getting updates

Can you try running "sudo apt-get update ; sudo apt-get dist-upgrade" (sans
quotes), put the output in a pastebin (it can be rather long) and link it
here? sometimes if it's a minor error, the update manager won't display it,
such as if there's a package that's being held back for whatever reason
(this is something that's worse in Fedora, dnf often won't give the reason
certain packages are held back until you try and upgrade the one that's the
issue and only with certain flags)
