[xubuntu-users] mousepad help

I am looking for help for xubuntu's mousepad editor.  When I hit Help in 
the menu, I get a list of xfce programs

with links to the internet?, but nothing for mousepad.  I want to assign 
key strokes to make mp similar to wordstar.
