[xubuntu-users] USB camera being intercepted?

when I connect my camera with the PC and sweitch it on I get an icon on 
the desktop showing a camera and the name of it. (double)clicking on it 
open ther file manager to show the contents of the card.
If that doesn't work for you you may try gigolo.
