[xubuntu-users] xubuntu 15.04 live dvd fails on a different computer

I have had a problem with the opening desktop wallpaper distorted and
the image doubled on my Lenovo A50 with Intel onboard graphics 15.04
fresh install. Live dvd boot does the same thing.
 I have an older Tyan Tiger 230- 2x celeron 1g proc, 768k mem, GEforce
6200 graphics that has 14.10 running on it.
Tried to boot the live dvd for 15.04. It gets to the point where it
begins to draw the desktop- top bar shown with sound indicator then just
stops. Done this twice.
Could the live dvd have a bug at the desktop stage?
