[xubuntu-users] Changing color of titlebar and/or text

I'm using the graybird-compact theme on 15.04. Can I alter the color of
the text in the titlebar for the active window or the color of the
titlebar itself in a simple way? Or do I have to write a new theme,
taking graybird-compact as a starting point?

I just want to make the active window stand out a little bit more.
