I don't care about what is installed, but after using k3b I need to
reboot. My external USB Western Digital HDD spins down and up and down
and up and ... after using k3b. For all the GTK/GNOME stuff that is
installed I simply removed or depending to my Linux install, build dummy
packages for GVFS to avoid this issue. I don't know how to handle this
for the Qt/KDE stuff.

Disk space isn't an issue for me, but I care about what services are
started. Sure, the less is installed, KDE, GNOME or what ever somebody
should dislikes, the less there's the need to care about issues that
could be caused when updating packages.
