[xubuntu-users] Flash player for XUbuntu 14.10

I have a similar problem with Channel 7 video "catchup" in Melbourne,
Australia. It appears to use some other Flash content, access checking
to see if the browser has some sort of "permission" to use the files (ie
has certificates?). I would guess it does something to make sure the
content is only accessed from their own phone apps etc where they can
control more of what happens on screen eg advertising, tracking or work
within copyright restrictions from others???

eg
https://au.tv.yahoo.com/plus7/castle/-/watch/25515429/castle-mon-17-nov-season-7-episode-4/
All I get is the whirling "loading" graphic...

On your example below I am told I am not a Canadian viewer, so I don't
even get started.

This works on Chromium +Flash 13.0.0.206 -
http://iview.abc.net.au/programs/soul-mates-extras/IV1430H008S00
(apologies about the content!!)

This is the Chrome (Pepper-based Flash Player), and I guess similar to
Firefox at 11.2.202.418, both final releases.

Cheers, Rob
