i have that message in my boot log as well and my system boots normally.
I suggest you have a close look at syslog and see whether there is a
long delay between messages or other stuff out of the ordinary.
impossible to tell the problem w/o more info.
pybootchart may also be useful.

Did you install something new recently or upgrade anything and it started?
