I also have been won over by Xubuntu over all the other flavors and distros
I have tried. I tried religiously to use Ubuntu, but I always hated the
Unity interface. It never felt natural to me to not be able to simply see
a menu of what programs I have to choose what I need from. Beyond that,
every distro, except Puppy, was too slow on my netbook until Xubuntu which
just does the job.

I am the CEO of a start up company and I think I have pretty much decided I
will use Xubuntu for all of the manufacturing, sales and admin computers
and try to avoid windows and mac everywhere I can. Sure I will need some
machines with windows so Engineers can use SolidWorks or with Mac so
Graphic Artists can use Quark, InDesign, Illustrator & Photoshop, but even
in the graphic arts I have successfully published a catalog using Gimp,
Inkscape and Scribus so, we will see.

OpenERP completely solves the ERP problem so Linux is fine there.

The thing I like is that the Xubuntu interface is clean and I am sure I can
administer it in a way to avoid all the IT overhead of Windows systems. I
look forward to this flavor of Ubuntu to continue growing. Thanks to the
Xubuntu team for creating a great system.

John
