What makes that tutorial confusing is that he enters it into Styles so
that one can remove and apply the watermark. It's actually easier just
to put the graphic into Format--Page--Background it is then
permanently on that document but can removed just as easily reversing
the action instead of entering into the Styles. I presume that is then
setting it up for any document.
Haven't needed to use watermarks for over ten years. Must admit that
most of my word processing now is just basic letters. I don't think
the current packages are as good as Lotus Word Pro that I used back in
1998 or so. Since Abiword went wobbly with 2.9.2 I have used google
Docs... typing up in gedit first.
