[xubuntu-users] VLC

I am trying to play a dvd using VLC and have a problem. Instead of 
starting at the beginning of the video with the introduction, in one 
case the page from which to choose an episode is displayed and in 
another example the start page for the first episode is displayed. The 
video plays fine when an episode is selected in both cases.

Is there a codec or something missing, please?
