[xubuntu-users] Re Desktop

    Dear People: Have just installed Xubuntu on my daughter's computer.
    When I boot from the hard disk, I see a welcoming screen for Ubuntu
    12.04 and login with name and password. Same screen, but no desktop.
    Instead I see: (name)@ubuntu : ~$.  How do I get from there to the
    Xfce desktop? Please advise? Many thanks...
