Hi,
The transmageddon <apt://transmageddon> (click to install) gui should do
all you need, it can convert to a variety of multimedia formats/codecs
and is very easy to use. If that doesn't do what you need, you could
have a look at mencoder, ffmpeg, or even VLC's built-in conversion tools
(Under Media>Convert/Save), there will be a tool in the packages
somewhere that'll do what you need.
