[xubuntu-users] Icons in Panel will not change size

If I increase the Panel measurements slide bar in the panel properties
the panel "bar" gets bigger but the those "quick start" icons and items
remain small, they do not grow to match the panel size increase. I seem
to remember that they used to do that, or there was a way to increase
the size. Now I have a big panel with icons that are "specks". What is
the fix? Using 11.10, thanks
