Installing the correct driver is everything for your video performance. 
Not only just for the speed gain, but for the display resolution 
efficiency for those aging eyes. I'm 62, diabetic, with macular 
degeneration. It's what you want to do. Your 8400 is capable of 3D 
acceleration, which is not the same thing as 3D TV with the color lenses 
on your face. It just means that all of the GOOD STUFF, like OpenGL, is 
fully enabled. If nothing else, you'll get a crisper display with a much 
higher refresh rate.

Should you decide to go and kill space monsters, it will really pop out
