[xubuntu-users] Happauge 2250

The ONLY reason I hard boot to win7 after getting win7 to install in a Virtualbox is to record TV with the 2250 capture card. I have been trying for a year and a half to make this card work with Linux and just have not been able to do it. I figure I'm a failure as a computer geek, even though I've been writing software for a living since '81. 


Before I start hacking at the Virtualbox, is it reasonable to expect that I will be able to communicate with this piece of hardware through the VM?
