well yes, rude it probably was because I am annoyed seeing people flout 
the rules simply because they can, without consideration of others.

I've no problem with people using any device they choose, as long as 
it's fit for the purpose; Justin's phone, by his own admission, is not.

if you think the long-established convention of not top-posting is 
simply my "obsession", then rational argument will not dissuade you.

Charlie Kravetz's suggestion that you familiarise yourself with the 
terms and conditions strikes me as a good one.
