[xubuntu-users] $@$@$&%#%& Nvidia card... anyone know if the xorg-video-nv driver does 2d _high_ resolution?

OK, But lets say I was one of those open source die-hards with a religious
belief against using proprietary drivers (I'm not, But suppose I was...)
If the Hardware Drivers tool only shows me the three Nvidia drivers, how
would I select one of the open source ones???

That part isn't too surprising. Though I've a related "sound card problem"
that I'll be starting a new thread about...

If your interested look for:

 Subject: $@$@$&%#%& Nvidia card... HDA NVidia (Alsa Mixer) But no sound card detected
