Sirs: I reset my Ubuntu 9.1 background to 800 X 640 resolution and the screen when entirely white with no cursor, no icons. It will not reboot into the normal Ubuntu desktop. I can get into Terminal. How do I recover from this? Tom Stearns 3 Brander Court Nashua, NH 03063
