Hi John,

Can you still see your wallpaper? If not, then it might be that xfdesktop
has crashed, which you might be able to fix by pressing Alt+F2 and running
'xfdesktop' (without the quotes). If you have saving your session enabled in
the logout dialog, be sure to leave it checked when logging out afterwards.
