Hi All,
After a few months of faltering I have made the switch from kubuntu to
xubuntu, but I have one really annoying problem.
In xfce when I select restart or shutdown, the shutdown starts then I
get a popup, Quote :
Unable to perform shutdown
org.freedesktop.hal.power_management.reboot_multiple_sessions
auth_admin <-- (action, result)
I click OK and it returns me to the GDM loggin screen, where I can
click shutdown AOK.
This was originally installed as a kubuntu box, then I added
xubuntu-desktop, the above problem arose, I switched from KDM to GDM
but the problem persists.
Any ideas ?
Cheers
Dave
