Robert,

Thanks for the info - my old PC half died just before Christmas, so I got
myself a NetTop as a present while I could still copy all the data across
easily. :)

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Nettop-PC-Intel-Atom-Dual-Core-330-2GB-500G-DVD-RW_W0QQitemZ130355103036QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_comp_dekstop?hash=item1e59c5053c

I am not advertising for this particular seller - just using it as an
example NetTop - it is running Jaunty Xubuntu really nicely.
I use it as a file and print server and general internet PC.
I haven't measured the power consumption yet, but expect it to be 30-40
watts idle (with monitor turned off).

Although, 'green' (and light - 5 kg - and small), it still has plenty of
power for what I need it for - it shows up as having 4 CPU threads - I have
been using VirtualBox fine - and have just started playing with 64-bit
Jaunty Xubuntu.

Regards,
David
