[xubuntu-users] Jaunty: logoff takes forever

Hi,

I am using xubuntu jaunty 32bit on two machines P4 2,8 and AMD 64/3200, 
each equipped with 2GB of RAM. Up to jaunty, xfce was very quick and
responsive throughout.

After upgrading both machines to jaunty, the desktop is still quick but 
logoff takes ages, sometimes just the panels disappear but the 
machine(s) do not log off, sometimes they logoff but it takes up to ten 
minutes to finish logoff (no error messages whatsoever seen on the screen)

I tried to delete with "rm -rf  ./config", but this did not cure things.

Any help is appreciated.
