[xubuntu-users] Set screen resolution (non standard )

I am wondering how do I set 800x480 resolution in Xubuntu?
I Added 800x480 on /etc/X11/xorg.conf ut with no result.
800x480 could not be chosen in Seetings Manager>Display

I did not had any problems since i used ubuntueee on my asus
and later installed xubuntu-desktop.
Now I want to run qemu/kvm virtual machine and test xubuntu 8.10
and I need to set 800x480.
