Not much to go on, are you locked up? Can you ctrl-alt-f1 to a VT
(ctrl-alt-f7 to get back) login, run top or htop and check the logs esp.
/var/log/Xorg.0.log? Is there hard disk activity? Have you updated
recently? Hardware problems? You need to give us a bit more detail.
