[xubuntu-users] Terminal with sound

Hi to all.
I have a question: do your terminals have sound bell? I mean: is it
possible to have sound?
The terminal emulator do not have sound (and in the preferences there is
no options for it) but neither the non graphical terminal (i.e. obtained
with Alt+F1) has sound: when I try `ping -a localhost` I cannot hear any
'beep'...

Some hints?
