Hi Coleman,

 It's great to hear that you're kids are having an opportunity to be exposed
to the wonderful world of Linux. Hopefully we can resolve this issue so that
your kids can enjoy the experience! :)

 First off, what version of Xubuntu are you running? 6.06 or 6.10? Do you
have the backports repository enabled (Not sure how to determine that? See:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Repositories)? Is the problem reproducible
(ie. does it happen every time you try)? Have you tried it but using Firefox
instead?
