Hello,
I made small changes to the xubuntu-website team on Launchpad today.
>From now on, the Xubuntu website team is a member of the Xubuntu team
(like Xubuntu developers), not the other way around.
This affects the access rights to the xubuntu.org administration panel.
The members of the xubuntu-website LP team will still have the
administrator role. However, anyone in the xubuntu-team will have the
contributor role. This means they will be only able to edit and delete
their own blog articles.
Rather than deleting any rights to access the administration panel, I
wanted to let the xubuntu-team have the access to edit posts to allow
and encourage a more from-community driven blogging.
While this is more restrictive, it is a step towards a more controlled
administrating. Generally, I would like to make the Xubuntu team more
inclusive rather than exclusive, which is a part of the reasoning for
this change.
In the future, we can look at creating a custom role to be linked with
the xubuntu-team, including editing rights to pages and others' posts.
