I think eog is not bad, it does not use very much RAM, but it is not
as responsive and does not have as much features as geeqie, which BTW
recommends imagemagick. In my experience memory usage is not big issue
with either viewer. I prefer image collection in the left side; that
way you see current image bigger. The collection is on bottom in eog.
