I have had this kind of problem with a regular computer. I mean
control falls back to GDM login screen when I start Xfce session. It
helps, if I login in virtual console and remove "~/.cache". After then
I can login to Xfce session once. (I save Xfce session on logout.) I
have several computers runngin Xubuntu Karmic Testing, but this
happens only in one of my computers. Maybe it is due to partial
upgrades that I have applied?
