I don't understand any need for another .desktop file and confusing
menu entry. All the user needs to do is click the
network-manager-applet in the top panel. To the best of my knowledge,
this is same method used in Ubuntu/Gnome. Early versions of Ubuntu used
additional items in the menus, but in 9.04, they do not exist.
