I happened to be in one of the last sessions that the Xfce/Xubuntu guys
had at the UDS, I wasn't participating but just listened. I got the
impression that the Xubuntu and Xfce guys had a really good relationship
with each other and that their discussions were positive. I was very
impressed with Cody's style and how he explained some of the Ubuntu
methodologies around wiki use, etc to the Xfce developers (I'm not sure
if one of them were you).

Well, thanks for the work that you've done, Xfce is a really nice system
and I'm glad that you'll still stay involved. I'm not active within
Xubuntu because of other things in Ubuntu that I have to give attention
to right now, but I care about the project and use Xubuntu in plenty of
deployments in my day job. I just want you to know that I think what you
do is important and it's appreciated, I guess users don't often tell you
enough!
